Bruce Joseph Korona, or commonly known as BJK, is a guitarist, singer songwriter, entertainer for over 40 years and a guitar instructor from Easthampton Massachusetts. He has owned and operated The Korona School of Rock for 24 years. Excelling in live performance and lyrical composition, he was able to release his debut solo titled BJ Korona Ep in 2016. The songs are a testament to his songwriting and heartfelt lyrics. He has written and recorded songs for the likes of blues powerhouse singer Susan Angeletti and Dan O’Sullivan, leader of the Americana band Bad Habit. BJ has also worked and recorded with Paul Alexander Interlande, of Angry Chair Studios, and countless local bands at Zing Studio including Jim Fogerty in Westfield Massachusetts. 

 

BJ founded the band Back in Black; North Americas tribute to AC/DC in 1990 and played with the band till he left in 2001. Some of his past local bands include: Bratt, Swift Kick, and The Gutter Boys. His current live bands include Lil Big, Monkey Finger, and The Korona Trio.

He has and is currently touring the East Coast of the US, with further dates in 2019 in Canada and The US Virgin Islands.
